2025 Umpire Registration

For the 2025 season, those born in 2013 or before are eligible to be umpires with York Baseball.  New umpires must set up a profile on the OBA's ONDeck app first and then register for courses and clinics on the app.  Returning umpires can log onto their existing profiles to register for courses and clinics.  For Level 1 & 2 umpires, everyone must complete an Online component and an In-class component to become certified.

The Etobicoke Baseball Association's Level 1 & 2 In-Class Umpire Clinic is on Sunday, March 30/25, at the Humber College Lakeshore New Gym (3199 Lakeshore Blvd West, Building A).

Two sessions are available: 1) 8:30am - 12:30pm, and 2) 1:00pm - 5:00pm.

NOTE: In-Class spots tend to fill up quickly.  If you are seriously interested in becoming an umpire for this season, register ASAP.

Register at https://ondeck.baseballontario.com/baseball-ontario-ondeck/register

When creating your profile, select Level 1.1 as your role in the ONDeck system.  You will then have access to the Level 1 Getting Started online learning modules and will be able to select a locally hosted Umpire Camp to attend in person.  Completion of both the online and in-person components is required for certification in 2025.

RETURNING LEVEL 1 OR 2 UMPIRES
Log in to your OnDeck Profile at https://ondeck.baseballontario.com/
When updating your profile in ONDeck, select the role that is one level higher than your 2024 certification.
Examples:
A Level 1.1 umpire in 2024 would select the Level 1.2 role
A Level 1.2 umpire in 2024 would select the Level 2.1 role
A Level 2.1 umpire in 2024 would select the Level 2.2 role
A Level 2.2 umpire in 2024 would select the Level 2.3 role
A Level 2.3 umpire in 2024 would select the Level 3 role.

The process is to register for the camp through the ONDeck APP https://ondeck.baseballontario.com/baseball-ontario-ondeck/register and then select the modules appropriate to your level.  These should take about 2 hours to complete and do not have to be done in one sitting.  Both components (online and in-person) must be completed to achieve accreditation.

The fees for the camp are: Level 1= $35, Level 2 = $55

Cheques are payable to Etobicoke Baseball Association at the Door.
If paying by cash please bring the correct change.
